The Inevitable Climate Change

Why did I start this blog ?

For the past 6 years I have been researching our planets climate. There is much in the way of disputes, be they science based, politically based and/or economically based as to why we are currently experiencing some planetary heating. There are many variables that affect our climate many of which interlink causing and changing both short term and long term climatic changes.

I serve no master so I try to look at the evidence dispassionately, rationally and without bias. It would appear to me that that the public only get whatever the tabloids, politicians, and depending where there loyalties lie, certain scientists wish to impart. Scaremongering and impending disaster seem to be the order of the day. There is an ever increasing dearth of good science which appears to being ignored as is the history of our climate going back millions of years.

As much to sort my own confusion I decided to explain the various variables and their potential consequences in a blog that I hope is reasonably easy to understand and written with clarity. I shall endeavour to explain how these variables affect not only our climate but have other planetary effects too.

Rock strata can tell us so much about the planet’s changing climate over time. M.Taylor 2018
